Data Request Survey for Airport Managers

The Indiana Department of Transportation Office of Aviation (INDOT), the Aviaton Association of Indiana (AAI), and Conexus request your help in completing a general analysis of the economic contribution of aviation for Indiana, and more specifically, how important your airport is to your community and the state. By providing this information, you will be ensuring that your airport's economic contribution will be properly calculated. This study will use data from calendar year 2010. Results of this study, particularly those which pertain to your airport, will be provided to you. We anticipate this study will be completed by late 2011.

2. AIRPORT USE:

Please list your best estimate for what types of aircraft used your facility and were these operations transient or local operations for 2010. We will use the latest traffic counts from INDOT and use data from ATADS for towered airports.

3. AIRPORT TENANTS AND EMPLOYMENT (Located on or adjacent to airport property)

In order to estimate the economic contribution of your airport we need a complete list of any firm or government entity located on or adjacent to the airport which conducts business of any type at the airport. Please list any firm or government entity -- owner/sponsor, FAA, FBO, airlines, air cargo, baggage, ramp services, gift shop, rental cars, limos, taxis, caterers, corporate pilots, aircraft maintenance, flight instruction, vending, restaurant, etc., which does business of any type at the airport. Input number of tenant jobs as full-time equivalent employees (i.e., two 20-hour per week employees = 1 full-time employee). Some tenant category types have already been entered into the table, please add/edit/remove as appropriate for your airport. Add rows or pages to the file if you need additional space.
